BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO E TRUSTO -  LIVE IN AVELLINO- This is an amateur crowd shot video in ok quality with surprisingly good sound and fairly steady camaera work. One of the all time premiere greats of Itaprog, Banco is captured with most if not all of its original lineup, performing cuts ranging from new releases the band was promoting when this concert was captured in the 90's, to material dating back to the 70's. There bare some awe inspiring performances from the first album, and Darwin. Banco are impossible to describe. Imagine a fusion of ELP, Goblin and Supertramp. Sometimes the sound is very dark, sometimes very classical, sometimes rather extreme with aggressive chord pitching from hammond/ moog/ guitar, and wildly technical time changes. If you have Profondo Rosso and Brain Salad Surgery but haven't heard of these guys, you MUST check this out, and go find their first 3 CDs. Summed up in one word, spectacular!

BORN TO LOSE: THE LAST ROCK 'N' ROLL MOVIE - JOHNNY THUNDERS -   Veteran documentary filmmaker Lech Kowalski created this film about his friend and hard-partying Rock God Johnny Thunders, member of legendary proto-punk band the New York Dolls. Through archive footage and interviews with such musicians as Dee Dee Ramone and Sylvain Sylvain, the film details his stint with the Dolls, the formation of his other band, the Heartbreakers; his rise to fame, particularly in Japan; his descent into heroin addiction, and the mysterious circumstances of his death in a New Orleans hotel room in 1991. Born to Lose: The Last Rock 'n' Roll Movie also contains some rarely seen concert performances in Max's Kansas City and the Mudd Club. At one point, one of the guys rips the Bible in half in front of the religious fanatic!! COOL!! As a bonus, you also get a cool as hell ACHERON concert!! Quite Satanic stuff here kiddies so be warned!! Good quality overall!! RECOMMENDED!!

I.Q.-FOREVER LIVE  - Very rare  pro shot concert performance, by an amazing prog rock talent. Dark and beautiful passages occasionally reminding of Itaprog, but with guitar passages as rich and dramatic as David Gilmour's finest. Some minor theatrical elements too, includes a favorite "It all stops here".  A superb concert feature with very good to excellent sound and image quality.

LE ORME : TEATRO STORCHI / IN CONCERTO  - Two shows here, the first in okay to good quality from around 1991, semi pro shot just about the time the band did their show for LA's progfest. They do material both contemporary and dating back to the first two LP's. Distinctly Neopolitan prog rock that ranges from serene to a very discordant, challenging horror movie like sound. The second show is in fair to Okay quality, the last song has intermittant vertical rolling but is an extremely rare black & white telecine film transfer, showing the band from prog's golden days of the early 7o's. The performance is pure magic, capturing that sound that we all grew to love from bands like ELP, Yes and Goblin, from a band that is legendary in their homeland. if you've never heard of them, sample them here then see if you can order their CDs from a specialty importer. You won't be dissappointed. The first four albums are amazing.

MONA ET MOI - STARRING JOHNNY THUNDERS , JERRY NOLAN AND THE HEARTBREAKERS!! This is a rare 1988 , very hard to find movie. It is out of print . It is a must for any Johnny  Thunders, Heartbreakers or New York Dolls enthusiast!  This French movie stars Johnny Thunders and also features Jerry Nolan, Billy Rath and Henri Paul. The story involves a French band and their manager, who is left in charge of "Johnny Valentine" (Thunders) for a week. Drugs, sex, music & betrayal! Johnny plays a couple songs, and it's hard to tell if he's acting, but he's wasted, witty & sarcastic! The movie is in French with English subititles, except when the characters are speaking English. The quality is pretty good considering how difficult it is to get a hold of this movie (a little grainy but good for  80's footage).  I think that you are going to be more than happy)- there is a small glitch at the beginning and one spot where the color fades out for less than a minute . OZRIK TENTACLES- LIVE UNDERSLUNKY  - RARE pro shot concert performance, by one of the worlds most incredible instrumental prog bands. Amazing performance. If you like Goblin and that sort of sound but with a more technical and improvisational feel you will LOVE this. Be prepared, this vid goes on and on with one of the trippiest, most entrancing strobe and light shows ever witnessed. Very good/excellent quality. PLAY THIS VIDEO LOUD!  

PROG FEST ALTOMONTE feat . MALAMBRA, MAD CRAYON, IL TRUONO DEI RICORDI- - Semi pro / amateur shot concert vid (basically amateur looking but they did some post cutting on it that helps it look decent) highlighting a series of bands from a major Italian prog rock festival. One particularly interesting group sports vampire like costumes with a medeivil edge, and at one point the lead vocalist sports a crown. Some minor theatrics, and some good music. Very interesting and worthwhile to all itaprog fans. Okay quality.  

SON OF DRACULA: 1974 Dir. Freddie Francis.  Harry Nilsson and Ringo Starr appear in this way out there rock & roll musical.  Nilsson is Count Down, destined to become king of the netherworld, but the Count wants to be a human, because as an immortal he can't find true love.  Ringo Starr is Merlin, the count's advisor.  An ancient wizard who speaks like- well like Ringo Starr.  There's a ton of great locations and people like Peter Frampton and Keith Moon are hidden in the mix, the songs are all classics.  Rejoice- it's here.  In English, Fair quality, Rare as Hell! Get it now!

TARD SPASM-Ok, we may be totally irresponsible for selling this but we could not resist! Hell, we’ve actually had a TON of requests asking for it! This video was filmed at a home for retarded people (I guess the proper term is "Mentally Challenged" but feel free to say what you want as we don’t care!) in which a death metal band plays for their dance and the results are pretty good! Watch and laugh as these people try to dance and mosh to the crappy noise the band hammers out all while fucking it all up! If you don’t laugh at this, you’re weird! If you are a sissy ass punk who gets offended by shit like this then FUCK OFF and don’t even think of ordering this! Good quality.
