ANGEL IN BLACK:DRESSED TO KILL (aka) THE BLACK ANGEL- Japanese femme fatale/revenge flick about a little girl who witnesses her gangster family brutally gunned down by a psychotic female assassin. She grows up and goes after the responsible parties. Along with a male companion, she stabs, shoots and fights with karate through an entire gang. A dark and depressing film where bullets fly, blood pours and a dark soundtrack pounds away to underscore the mood. Blood, death, nudity and kick ass fighting. What more could you want?  LBX in Japanese with bits of English throughout. Good/very good quality. Recommended!

ANOTHER XX: BODY PUZZLE-More in the long series from Japan has Agent XX called in once again to investigate a serial killer who hacks up women and takes parts of their bodies as souvaniers for his grotesque collection (After raping and killing them of course!). He uses it all: The ears, fingers, even the breasts are sliced off! As usual, there’s plenty of nudity and sleaze. This is one of the better episodes in the series as there’s more suspense and gore than others. In Japanese language only. Very good quality.

HORSE DOG WOMAN-Another OVER THE TOP trash-fest from the infamous Sato about a demented woman who has her male servants kidnap and rape young women for her amusement back in her secluded beach house. Lots of rape and torture including some FAKE (yet highly effective and grotesque!) animal-rape stuff. A MUST SEE but is optically censored with this being from Japan and all. No English. Ok picture quality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as this is a rather disturbing piece of work!!

JIGOKU "HELL" 1961 VERSION-Classic Japanese film about damned souls in hell! A really weird film filled with lots of strange imagery and is quite ahead of its time! LBX. Good quality. Japanese language only.

JOYS OF TORTURE: THE SHOGUN'S TORTURE aka HELL'S TATTOOER- This is a must see! Has 3 cool short stories set in the 1600 in feudal Japan. The first is about a woman who is beaten and tortured for having an affair with her dying brother. She was forced to put out in order to pay a large debt to a local big shot doctor who saved her brother. The second story deals with nuns. You get to see two bald-headed Japanese nuns getting it on! The third is about a crazed tattoo artist ho kidnaps a woman to use as his canvas. Towards the end, the woman is beaten and even roasted over what looks like a big BBQ grill! Now, any film that starts out with a woman beheaded and her bloody neck stump shooting blood, then a second woman burned at the stake, and finally a third is ripped apart in graphic detail by oxen all in the first two minutes can’t be bad!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Directed by Teruo Ishii. In Japanese with English subtitles. Ok picture quality. 

JOY OF TORTURE 2: OXEN SPLIT TORTURE-Hold on to your senses! This is one MEAN-SPIRITED Japanese torture/gore film that holds nothing back! This hard to find sicko should be on every gore lover’s shelf!! A cruel feudal lord is hunting down Christians and then tortures and kills them in numerous brutal ways. Meanwhile, one of his guards falls for a beautiful Christian woman and is then forced to watch her be raped, tortured, and humiliated before his eyes. Lots of repulsive stuff including a woman being put in a boiling kettle and cooked, a man’s body is cut in half with a samurai sword while he hangs, people are branded on the forehead and even in their eyes, Christians are tied to crosses and stabbed repeatedly, and one scene has the heroine being tied down and ripped apart by charging bulls!!! And this is only the first 40 minutes!! This is one brutal gut punch that should not be missed!! In Japanese w/subs. Ok quality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

IN HELL-Very gory and bizarre 70's Taiwan-made horror-fantasy film, about a beautiful woman forced to endure the torments and tortures of going into hell and witnessing the gruesome punishments carried out there. Similar to the Japanese film JIGOKU, this shows people being sawed in half, intestines ripped out in graphic detail, eyes plucked out and put into bowls, people crushed, limbs dismembered, whippings, burnings, heads cut off, etc.! Uncut, in Taiwanese w/Engl. subts., o.k.-good qual. RECOMMENDED!
